favourite of local Japanese, Kiarti Thanee Country Club is ideal for higher
handicappers and newer golfers. The course underwent an extensive course
renovation program in 2003, which has toughened the course up a little and
made it more challenging for better players from the back tees. Two putting
greens, an excellent chipping and pitching green plus a three-tiered grass
driving range make Kiarti Thanee ideal for practicing.
Another favorite among local residents and tourists alike, the course is
conveniently located about 45 minutes south of Bangkok at Km 29 on the
Bangna-Trad highway. Although this 18-hole course is fairly flat, its
extensive use of bunkering and water hazards more than compensate to provide
a challenge to golfers at all levels.
