Bangkok Golf - Thanont Golf View & Sports Club

 Water surrounds the entire golf course and part of the clubhouse
building. As with its sister course at Krisda City Golf Hills, Robert
MCFarland has created a very interesting layout, the highlight of which is
undoubtedly the long par-four ninth and the par-five eighteenth. At both
holes players have to negotiate a huge lake which overlooks the clubhouse.
The approach shot at the 7th and 10th holes has to be played to an island
green. Holes one, two, three and the finish to the ninth are all played on a
separate island.
Tanon Golf View & Sports Club is recently opened as a golf course with 18
holes near Minburi town. It is far from the center of Bangkok about 40
minutes drive. All the holes of the course are spread on the quite flat area
and players can overlook the course. The feature of the course is that the
course is surrounded in whole by water hazards. |
